Glossary

The words used across owned and what they mean here.

Bonding curve. A pool whose price is a function of how much has been bought. On owned, Meteora's Dynamic Bonding Curve, quoted in a stock token.

Claim status. A small on-chain account per holder and coin recording how much of their cumulative entitlement they have claimed.

Config. A Meteora DBC account that fixes everything about a family of pools: quote mint, fee, curve, graduation threshold and fee routing. owned has one per stock and fee mode, in versions.

Creator mode. The fee mode in which 80% of every fee goes to the coin's creator.

Cumulative merkle root. A hash posted on-chain that commits to every holder's lifetime reward entitlement for a coin. Holders prove their leaf to claim.

DAMM v2. Meteora's constant-product AMM with position NFTs and permanent locks. Where coins trade after graduation.

DBC. Dynamic Bonding Curve, Meteora's launch program.

Direct launch. A pool created on an owned config without going through the own program. It follows the same fee rules and is served by the same cranks, but its mint does not end in own; the app labels it.

Epoch. The 24-hour window over which holder balances are time-weighted for rewards.

Fee claimer. The account allowed to claim a config's partner fees. For owned configs it is the treasury PDA.

Fee mode. Holders or Creator; who receives the 80% of every fee. Chosen at launch, immutable.

Graduation. The migration of a coin from the bonding curve to a DAMM v2 pool once $10,000 of stock has been raised.

Holders mode. The fee mode in which 80% of every fee is paid pro-rata to holders.

Issuer. The company that mints a stock token and holds the underlying shares: Backed Finance for xStocks, Backpack Securities (via Sunrise) for the others.

Jupiter. Solana's swap aggregator, used to turn SOL or USDC into the stock within a trade.

Permanent delegate. A Token-2022 extension giving the issuer power to move tokens from any account.

Pausable. A Token-2022 extension letting the issuer halt all transfers.

PDA. Program-derived address, an account controlled by a program rather than a private key.

Quote asset / quote mint. The token a coin is priced and traded in. On owned, a stock token (SOL and USDC are secondary options).

Scaled UI amount. A Token-2022 extension that multiplies displayed balances by an issuer-set factor for splits and similar actions.

Shares per coin. The coin's price expressed in the stock token.

Sweep. Moving accrued partner fees from a pool into the treasury.

Token badge. Meteora's allowlist entry for a Token-2022 quote mint with issuer extensions.

Treasury. The own program's PDA that holds swept rewards until holders claim them.

TWAB. Time-weighted average balance: the holder's average balance across an epoch, which determines their share of that epoch's rewards.

Vanity mint. A mint address ending in own, pre-ground by owned and reserved for each launch.
