Short answers to the questions people ask first.
Trading
Do I need to own the stock token to buy a coin?
No. Pay with SOL or USDC and the app swaps into the stock and buys from the curve in one transaction. You can also pay with the stock directly.
Why did I end up with a little bit of the stock after a buy?
Jupiter's swap into the stock can return slightly more than the curve consumes (up to your slippage tolerance). The remainder stays in your wallet, the panel shows it, and it is used first on your next buy.
What is the fee?
Exactly 1% of the stock amount on every buy and sell, before and after graduation. See Fees.
Can I sell back to SOL?
Yes. Selling pays you in the stock and can route to SOL or USDC in the same transaction.
The trade button says "paused by issuer". What happened?
The issuer of the stock token paused all transfers of that token. Nobody can move it until they unpause. See Issuer controls.
Rewards
How do I get paid in Holders mode?
Hold the coin. Every 24 hours a snapshot credits your share of the fees swept that day; claim from Portfolio → Rewards. Nothing expires.
Is there a minimum?
Your time-weighted balance must be at least 0.001% of supply (10,000 coins) in an epoch to be included.
Can I claim all coins at once?
Yes, "Claim all" batches several coins per transaction.
Why is my first claim slightly more expensive?
It creates a claim-status account for that coin (about 0.0016 SOL). Later claims reuse it.
Who pays in Creator mode?
Nobody pays holders; 80% of fees go to the creator. The mode is shown on every card.
Launching
What does it cost to launch?
About 0.03 SOL of Solana rent for the mint, pool, vaults and metadata, plus network fees. owned charges nothing.
Can I change the stock or the fee mode later?
No. Both are properties of an immutable Meteora config.
Why does my mint end in "own"?
owned pre-generates mint keypairs whose address ends in own and reserves one for your launch. It is cosmetic and verifiable: every coin launched through the program has one.
Can I buy in the launch transaction?
Yes, the initial buy executes in the same transaction as the pool creation, so nobody can front-run it.
Graduation
When does a coin graduate?
When its curve has raised the equivalent of $10,000 in the stock, converted when its config was created. See Graduation.
What happens to the liquidity?
It moves into a Meteora DAMM v2 pool and is locked permanently. It cannot be withdrawn by anyone.
Risk
Is this a security or a share?
No. Coins are plain tokens. Stock tokens are issued by third parties and give you no claim on the underlying shares through owned. Read No claim on shares and the Risk disclosure.
Who can use owned?
Anyone the stock-token issuers allow to hold their tokens and who is permitted under their local law. xStocks are not offered to US or UK persons by their issuer. See the Terms.
